A long, long, long, time ago, I seriously considered buying some. But gosh, they were expensive. I did get a couple bags of shorn fleece from a breeder, though, and was able to do some fun things with it: spinning, felting, and knitting. They are incredibly cute.
ooooooh they are my favorite farm animal. they live on the farm i learned to knit on!!! i featured them on my blog on march 22, they are beautiful animals, and their fleece is amazing to knit with!!!!!
I love them, too! We had several alpaca farms around here.
