What Would You Pray?

Pulled before the kings of the Earth, the humble soul was asked to pray.

"Yes, open this meeting in prayer," they pleaded. Their motives were unclear. Their expectations were hidden. A room full of the powerful, the weary, and the hopeless. What would you pray for presidents and kings? What would your words be for this fallen world? What would you say?

  1. I would say that our leaders find Jesus and have EMPATHY!!

  2. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done. I better be more careful with my comments, dear Sandi! But that would definitely be my starting point in prayer.

  3. If I were asked to pray for the kings of the Earth, I would pray for wisdom for them to lead with kindness and a true desire for peace. I would ask for their hearts to be open to understanding the needs of everyone, not just the powerful. For the world, I would pray for healing and for everyone to find hope and compassion in their hearts.

  4. I would pray that they would find the Lord and ask for His wisdom, discernment and guidance in the decisions that they have to make for their countries. Then that they would not jump ahead of Him but be still and wait for his answers.

  5. I would and do pray that our leaders would come to know Jesus as their Savior and to give them wisdom.

  6. I would pray for those who do not know Jesus to come to Him, the One and Only way to eternal life, for we all have a choice regarding our believing in, and coming to, our beloved Saviour.

  8. I asked "Google AI" for a prayer for kings and leaders, and this is what it came up with: "Almighty God, we come before you today to pray for our leaders. We ask for your wisdom to be upon them, that they may make just and righteous decisions. We pray for their protection from harm and from the influence of evil. Grant them discernment to understand the needs of the people they serve and the courage to lead with integrity. May their leadership reflect your love and compassion, and may their actions bring about peace and prosperity for all. We pray that they will seek your will in all things and that their hearts will be open to your guidance. We ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.". I decided I couldn't do any better than this prayer, so there you go!!
