I can only imagine that we will do the same thing when we finally see Him face to face!!! We will be so amazed...and we may discover that He's been here all the time, and we just didn't realize it was Him!!!!!!!!
Yes! You know, so many paintings portray Jesus as very handsome with long flowing hair. But in fact, the bible says that he was not much to look at. Again proving the fact that it is not how you look, but what's in your heart.
Ginny's comment makes me think of the paintings in our National Gallery. Most of the ones depicting him are of that variety- though not quite all of them.
