A quiet whisper on a very loud Internet. Can you hear me?
What a beautiful post!
We need humility to see what we do not expect or want to see!
YES! Humility opens the eyes.
Yes so true.
He was and He is.
I can only imagine that we will do the same thing when we finally see Him face to face!!! We will be so amazed...and we may discover that He's been here all the time, and we just didn't realize it was Him!!!!!!!!
He is risen!!
Yes! You know, so many paintings portray Jesus as very handsome with long flowing hair. But in fact, the bible says that he was not much to look at. Again proving the fact that it is not how you look, but what's in your heart.
Jesus is the most important for me.Blessed weekend :)
Ginny's comment makes me think of the paintings in our National Gallery. Most of the ones depicting him are of that variety- though not quite all of them.
They did not recognise Him because their minds were set on what they thought they knew.Never rely on what you think you know.God bless.
Very contemplative post ~ Happy Day to you,A ShutterBug Explores, aka (A Creative Harbor)

I too liked Ginny's comment. It's not how we look it's what's in our heart. All the best Jan
That's right. and I like Ginny's comment too.
To love Him is to know Him. We will know Him. What a day that will be. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
Jesus appears to us when we least expect it. Blessings, Sandi!
Humility goes a long way.
Jesus hardly ever looks like we would expect He would . . .Blessings, Sandi!
Sandi, that is beautiful!!!
Lovely. Simply lovely.
Won't it be amazing when we see Jesus!
Oh I love this! It's really so simple.
Makes me think of the song, I Can Only Imagine. Will I dance for you Jesus or in awe of you be still?
Light of TRUTH has compelling power ,it surrounds you and pave ways inside you
Beautiful Sandi - On His first visit - so many missed Him. They will not on His second. Hugs!
Simply beautiful Sandi!I think, He looks ordinary for others, but He is very special for His own people.
