  5. I'm with the others - beautiful mug!
I'm good. Started the day with now heat, had the furnace guy come out and found out the issue was the thermostat. Such a relief!

    1. Such a relief! Replacing a heating unit is no joke. We did ours a few years ago.

  6. I love your mug, and tell me, is that really "dandelion tea?" I didn't know if there was such a thing, although I know you can eat dandelion greens and maybe the flowers too? Just make sure no meanie has sprayed weed killer on them! They AREN'T weeds! I keep trying to tell people that. Actually we don't really have many dandelions here in Florida. We have lots of other wildflowers, but not so many of them. I wish we did. I love them. Enjoy that cup of tea for me. I will have one too.

    1. Yes, yes, dandelion tea is a real thing! It's good. I get mine at the store in a box. 😂 I suppose I could pick them from the yard and boil the roots down and dry them, but I would be scared. Hubby sprays the weeds out there and, well, who knows what is in the ground!

  7. We are good here in NE Washington. Weather has allowed us to clean out our planters to get them ready for Spring growth while listening to 3 great sermons on Why bother with the Bible. How are you?

    1. What did the sermons say? I think there must be 1000 reasons to "bother" with the bible. 🙂

Today I am hosing the pollen off the deck. It's how Spring starts here, great clouds of yellow. It settles on everything. When it rains it puddles up like yellow paint. Amazing to see. I grew up in Michigan and never saw it, then moved to the South as a teen and woooo...pollen.

    1. Thanks, Chatty. I love tulips! This mug also has a matching teapot, a gift from my mom. I can't remember where I found the mug itself. It was a total coincidence they matched.

What are the benefits of drinking dandelion tea?

Dandelion tea is an excellent source of potassium,
a mineral and electrolyte that stimulates the heartbeat.
Potassium may help the kidney filter toxins more effectively
    and improve blood flow.
The polysaccharides in dandelion are known to reduce stress
on the liver and support its ability to produce bile.....Amen...! :)

  10. I'm a day late - in answering. All is well here in Rainy COLD California. I don't believe I have ever had Dandelion Tea - last year we grew some chamomile for tea and it was way stronger than the tea bags. My husband loves teas and used to try a regional tea in every port they stopped into. Now I have had dandelion greens from my Tennessee grandma. Take care and God Bless.

  12. All things considered, not bad. It was a mostly free day so I painted and that always makes things very nice indeed!

  14. I am Ok. But kind of nervous about travels coming up. Don't like traveling much, and we've had rain and snow and icy roads. Please say a prayer for safe travels coming up. Thank you, Sandi.

  15. Dearest Sandi,
Well, I woke up very early—due to pain—but managed to go back and sleep... That feels good!
