Saying

What other people
think of me is

I have heard two people say this, not sure who said it first.
It sounds like one of those wise things grandmothers say.

It's freeing, isn't it?

  3. We shouldn't be indifferent to what other people think about us. However, things should be put into perspective and proportion, as logic is often not the driving force behind what people think, say, or do.

  6. Yes, my friend, it is indeed freeing! And it saves a lot of hard feelings along the way if what they are saying is not good.
